So my partner was out this morning and while he was there was a slip for a missed delivery. The postman tried to deliver a signed for letter (we think this could be PPR!!) but there was another letter too. It reads; Dear XXXX, Please note that we have removed your child from the application...

So from 'medical results received' how long does London take (on average) to email PPR? I'm so excited that we're almost there! :D

So, after a four month wait for Mississauga and four months of not knowing if London had received our file, eCAS has finally updated to 'medical results received'!! Does this mean PPR is not long off now? :D

    Progression!...I hope.

Thanks Charlie! I really hope we get PPR soon, it's been a VERY long wait! Just another question; my partner is in the UK, so he will receive his visa once he enters Canada. What about our three year old daughter? She is here in Canada with me, does she not receive such a thing as she is...

    Progression!...I hope.

Good morning all! I've logged into eCAS this morning to find that under the sponsor for permanent residence part, it still reads 'application received' but when I click on it to go into it further, it reads as normal that our file was received on X date but underneath it also now reads 'Medical...

Urgh, I'm getting so pee'd off with this waiting process now. We received sponsorship approval on Sept 22nd and have heard nothing since. When I log into eCAS the only thing updated is my address here in Canada. I don't know if London has received it, whether they're working on it, nothing...

    Nothing yet!

Went sent our application on May 13th and it was received May 16th. We received Sponsorship Approval on Sept 22nd (we still don't know why Mississauga screwed us around). We haven't heard anything from our visa office (London) to even acknowledge they have received it. People who received...

Hello all! I just wanted to introduce myself :). I'm here in Canada as a permanent resident with my three year old daughter and my partner is back in the UK, I'm sponsoring both my partner and our daughter. We sent our application on May 13th and it was received on May 16th. Unfortunately...

    Time limit for entering Canada.

Thank you both. Hey Vic, I don't know why it took so long. We sent everything on May 13th and it was received on May 16th, after speaking with the call centre numerous times, they didn't even pick it up to start working on it until the beginning of August. I think it was put in the wrong pile...

    Time limit for entering Canada.

Thank you for your replies! Are you sure it goes on the dates of the medicals? I ask because my partner had his done in March of this year. We've had sponsorship approval, but heard nothing from the visa office (London), unless they give him the go ahead pretty soon, it doesn't give him much...

    Time limit for entering Canada.

We haven't had PPR yet, but I'm just wondering, when my partner receives the letter that he has been accepted into Canada, how long do they give you to enter? We're wondering to make sure he has adequate time to properly wrap things up back in the UK. Thank you!

    Do it yourself medical photos

I don't know of the link, but if I were you, I'd get my photos done professionally to specification. It's not worth your application being sent back to you on something as silly as the wrong photos.

    What does London look at?

Our visa office is London. London should receive our application some time this week, as we've recently heard about myself being approved as a sponsor. My question is, what exactly does London look into other than the medicals and criminal record check? I know Mississauga looks into the...
