Normally the sponsor will receive information regarding DNA tests, the sponsor will get a list of accredited institutions in Canada for the DNA to be done, the sponsor then chooses one of those labs to take the test after the sponsor does the test, they will send a letter to the embassy...

OOOOO gosh from 19 to 20.. so now they even have more time to sit and just stare at the applications...I was told kingston is having a backlog...so this makes it even worst..smh

@maddants yes someone from the embassy called me to tell me i need to re-do..However i did not receive any forms to do it so i just went ahead n made an appointment n did it..after i joined this forum i was reading other posts where people said the embassy sent them forms with their file #, UCI...

after DNA it just takes like 7-14 days for the sponsor to receive results but it depends on which facility u use.. CIC is not responsible for the cost you the sponsor is..CIC will send u a list of accredited DNA testing centres and u will be able to call them and get the cost

also thanks nsr...didnt see that u replied.. but europe she already re do the medical and send the form to show that she did medical to cic..so now that i am seeing all this information about cic sending the forms i am wondering what will happen in her case..that sucks though because they...

Thanks for your response europe But i know of some1 who got a call to redo and didnt get the forms and they just ahead and do it. I hope that it wont be an issue for her bcuz she says she had to bring passport and pictures. so i hope the visa office will accept it

hi europe, when they asked you to re do medical. what kind of forms did they send you? n did u do over everything?

yes maddants u r right i think they raise it since july. I paid for the express n did my prints at St. Mary instead of it taking 7days it took 2 weeks for me to collect it. I was so pissed. So its better you go kingston. At kingston u can get it same day but i think its for $8,000.

Thanks for ur answer chickie. I know someone who just redo without file number so she is now worried what will happen. Also carm_cnd i emailed kingston from sunday and all now they haven't responded to any of emails so i am thinking they just read and answer what they want.
