    Stage 1 Preliminary Eligibility Assessment

After having applied on October 8th and submitted my biometrics the following day, I received yesterday (October 15th) a stage 1 preliminary eligibility assessment email. Is this email good news? How long is the wait between stage 1 and stage 2 (study permit approval).

Entering Canada despite having online courses

Not yet, I submitted all documents online and applied on October 8th, did my biometrics the following day on October 9th and now I am waiting for my approval. For some reason, before submitting, it said that the estimation for my country Lebanon is 3 weeks, but now it's 8 weeks. What about you?

The IRCC website Coronavirus disease (COVID-19): International students states that international students may enter Canada if they are taking either hybrid or on-campus courses. It also mentions on the...

Is it possible to reside outside of my university's state/province?

I intend to land in Quebec to complete a 2-week quarantine. I read on the immigration website that I should have a two-week quarantine plan, so maybe I can rent some place and then travel to another province.

Is it possible to reside outside of my university's state/province?

Hello, I am a newly admitted student at Concordia Montreal Quebec for Winter 2021. I have applied for my study permit one week ago. I have a friend in Calgary, AB that I plan to settle with, since my Winter semester at Concordia will be online, and I have a 7-hour timezone difference in my...
