HI Everyone. Just an update May 11th interview turned into a visa issuance to be picked up on May 25th at 830 am. Hubby will be landing May 28th. 8 months in Havana when we got the call for interview and 11 months for total process. All the best to those who are still waiting.

I honestly do not understand the process how some get the visa in a blink if an eye and others have to endure hell and back with hopes of obtaining a visa. I really hope protocol and new processed are enforced to make it equal for every application

Heidi I knew at 3 months that we were getting an interview. My friend knew at 4 months. And another at 7 months. How do we know? We emailed and asked. It's that easy.

For myself I knew at 3 months that we were on the list for interview. So now I just wait for a phone call The embassy told my rep that they are holding all those applications on the interview list to the 10 month mark. So it will be June for us when we get interview hopefully

How can you not freak out over this???? The whole process goes from one year to 18 months then to 26 months? ?? This is our lives we are dealing with. Will need to pay for medicals and police checks long distance vacations. There has to be some compassion from the govt.

I just checked it out and yes it did jump from 18 to 26...this is just getting ridiculous...I hope this is a glitch in the system.

I am game for quicker processing for spousal reunification. My timeline was 10 months now they just upped it to 18 months. That is really depressing and causes severe financial hardship in relation to having to redo medicals and police checks and maintaining a long distance relationship. Do they...
