i dont think is a big issue....in my opinion, after completing your exam, Very soon, your school will sent a letter to inform you that u have completed your degree and will also let you know the date of convocation.....you can use the date of the letter as your date guideline.

i believe it might due to your high school background.. meaning u started at a early age to learn about the western culture and so on....

They will informed u at a later date to send the FBI document Inital application, u dont have to send the FBI documents... it is also stated on their CIC website...

if english is not your native/first language, then u have to take the IELTS... Just to share an experience with u....i have a friend who is doing a master degree prog in one of the universities in Canada,also must take the IELTs to apply for PR...Cos, english is not his native language...

I have used a consultant ... so what i notarized is my native citizenship certificate, passport, birth certificate, for personal background information for school transcripts, one of them is seal by the university; the other post-studies done outside of canada are notarized by my country...

Go around and check the fees charged by different lawyers, do a research about their reabliablity and so on..... Also consider your own budget.......

Can they send your trancripts to where you are staying now....? Instead of sending to the Canadian Immigration Office...

In my personal opinion, is purely thru estimation.... if i were u, i will give myself a just pass mark for IELTS and see how other factors/requirements and the points for the just pass marks for IELTS can add up to!....

May we should have another folder/topic to get people to tell us when are they requested for IELTs from the officals..hopefully there will be a pattern as to guide people when to take their IELTS test.. Example. Apply immigration thru: Buffalo-US, india, Asia, etc Requested for IELTS result...
