Got an email from CIC Edmonton last Friday, October 31 for my landing appointment on November 12. Finally, waiting is over. Hope everything goes well ;)

My mother applied tourist visa October on 21. And yesterday October 25, visa office in Manila sent back her passport with 5 years multiple visa. :). We have not submit anything like bank accounts or land title. Just application forms and invitation from my husband.

Have you guys got an email from CIC like this? Just got this email today and wondering what is this all about. I checked my application status and medical was already received. I don't know if they going to request to re-do the medical because its already over a year since my family member...

Hi.. My brother is in Kuwait right now. If he get employer here in Canada, where can he submit his papers? Im not sure if there is Canadian embassy in Kuwait. I need response please. Thank you.

I got my AIP .. yayyyyyy. I sent my application December 5 ;) ;) ;)

Your application is already 2 years.. that's too long. I talked to former applicant a few months ago and it only took 1 year and 5 months from the start till the dependent got his visa.

thank you for reply. CIC received my application December 5, 2012. Got my AOR January 18, 2013. Still waiting for my AIP :)

We have the same situation and when i called the CIC about this, the officer told me to apply either open work permit or just the work permit for my employer. I think if you applied for work permit with your same employer, they not gonna issue you an open work permit till the conditional work...

Anyone here? I want to ask if it is more complicated or they process it longer?

i have inland spousal application. Married by canadian spouse but not annulled in the Philippines from my first marriage. I have a accompanying son who is now in the Philippines. I want to ask CIC process longer if there is accompanying dependent outside canada?

AOR is pretty fast... I got mine in 45 days. Received my application December 5.. AOR January 19.
