Hi, Thank you for the reply, i am currcurre in india. I went to the passport submission office today. Vfs Global. They refused to accept the passport because it has crossed the 30days limit. They have asked me to email the high commission of delhi. And only if they approve i can submit it...

In a similar situation, but i have missed the deadline by more than 40 days now. I have to submit to Delhi, but i am planning to visit chennai. What should i do? should i go directly to vfs , or should i email canada asking for a re-sending of the email.?
