Hi northclare, Thank you for information. My parent requires a visa counterfoil to be affixed to passport which is strange because we are from E.U., so Ottawa will need to request passport sooner or letter.

Hi! I have great news to share: CPP-Ottawa approved our application and a visa will be issued but the estimated timeline is not available at this stage. My MP said if I have not heard from CIC by end of this month to contact them again. So finally the waiting is almost over! Good luck to all...

Assistant of my MP just contacted me to ask me to provide the consent form so my MP could contact CPC-Ottawa. I hope finally I will find out soon what is the decision after more than 2 months since decision was made.

That's outrageous. I thought that things are cleared before they approved the sponsorship in Mississauga.
