My file was in Ottawa from middle of January, medicals done in February, and I didn't get yet a passport request but maybe I am an exception too.

They shouldn't transfer the whole file to the home country, because if I remember correctly they said in the past latter, they may transfer the file to home country only if they need more info but the positive decision was made so I don't see any reason...

I think only LVO of home country instead of CPP-Ottawa will issue PPR, if the parent is in home country, isn't it?

In March, my e-cas was updated in 2-3 weeks after the medicals have been received.

I got today an e-mail from Ottawa asking me where it is my parent. Do you have any idea if they are asking this question before sending the request for passport, or there is other reason? Thanks a lot

Thanks Shuga! Yes, I was thinking about ordering a physical copy of the file to get the passport request letter from CIC.
