Yes, it makes sense. Dont worry in another mail, you will be getting remed request. In most of the cases, IMM and Remed request are one after other. Good thing is that they have also asked for RePCC so they will IA complete the process without any further request for RePCC in the next 3 months...

No harm in sending email but I didn't as tcs sends u a confirmation sms when it is receieved. Plus now a days they r stamping visa really fast MA so u wudnt feel the urge to send an email.:)

I m sure the moment you send them very solid proofs, ur interview will be waived, and they will send u the next request. Just make sure that the proof is very satisfying and something that force them to act fast.
