Thanks for the reply! I do not have a job sponsor and in my field IT a LMIA is almost impossible. As you said 30 is the age limit, so I'll be crossing fingers while I try my chance with AIESEC.
OK good to know, thank you so much!
In fact I just found a 72 week internship opportunity in Montreal through a recognized organization. However Quebec seems to have different immigration rules than the rest of Canada, EE in particular does not apply to Quebec. If I join the 18 month internship...
Thank you guys!
One more question: when you go through a recognized organization, and your country does not have any bilateral agreement with Canada, does that enforce restrictions on the IEP work permit duration? I need a work permit that's valid for longer than one year (maybe 18 months?) so...
My country of citizenship is Tunisia.
Understood, I'm just trying to find a "legal hack" to be honest, since there doesn't seem another reachable pathway towards Canadian work experience.
That said, I remember having read somewhere in cic website, that after the IEC work permit expires, the...
One more question @jes_ON if you don't mind:
Some of the recognized organizations arrange internship deals before the candidate travels to Canada, I understand however that I need to arrive to Canada a few days before the internship start date to settle myself. Is-it possible to get a visa for...
Thanks for all the info jes_ON! didn't know paid internships in Canada count as work experience for EE. That makes IEC recognized organizations a perfect option!
@Ioftenyell
Thanks for replying, I'm not quite convinced about a couple things though:
1-
from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=935&top=25
which contradicts your statement, no?
2-
cic requires the 1 year experience be full time (at least 35 hours/week), paid, and...
I'm a 30 year old IT professional, single, have 18 months foreign work experience, my scores in IELTS and TEF cannot be improved, I have 2 degrees each obtained upon 3 years of post secondary education and my EE score still doesn't qualify for an EE invitation. However if I add to all the above...
I'm trying to find pathways to boost my EE score. The best option I'm hoping for at this point is to gain at least 1 year of work experience in Canada... which obviously requires a temporary work permit. IEC sounds suitable, but I haven't been successful in my research for IEC sponsors so far...
Thanks again for replying. I did have a close look at your links, the proof of funds section is not very specific about what could disqualify a bank statement. I feel I'm worrying too much at this stage though, I don't plan to do anything illegal, and by the time I improve my IELTS, take the TEF...
Not what I wanted to hear but thanks guys!
One more question: what if I get worse results in my second exam, am-I allowed to use the previous score, or do they only accept the last?
I recently received my IELTS results (S7.5, L6.5, R6.5, W8). If I retake the exam and say I get (S6, L8.5, R8, W7), is it possible to merge both in my EE application and end up with (S7.5, L8.5, R8, W8)?
What if it was a gift from my parent, and he's not asking for a give-back. Would that solve the problem? and if so what's the formal procedure to prove it?
My bank statement proves that I have the required funds as a FSW trying to apply for EE. A good portion of the required funds were recently (a month ago) deposited through an international wire transfer from a family member, and the transaction activity prior to that was not quite significant...
