Dear Sonal, Yes I did get my passport back with visa attached... no photo on visa... and valid till 29th Nov 2014 (So NDVO gave me ~10 days grace as meds were expiring on 18th).. Sorry couldnt reply earlier... past 2 days have been tumultuous... all my plans have changed.. have to can my EU...

I sent on thursday.. it reached delhi on friday morn... weekend... dispatched from delhi on monday.. will be collecting it today!!! :)

Hi karanjeet, There is a higher chance of your status not changing to IP if you dont send PCC.. Keep a scanned copy of PCC with you for your reference.. also, if you are sending it via courier, keep a screenshot of the tracking details once NDVO has received it (Do not forget to include you UCI...

Hi mehtapr... congratulations... delaying sending your PP wont change the validity of visa.. You have received a PPR because they already have the visa ready for you and all that is needed is for it to be stuck to your PP... in fact, if you send your PP immediately, you will know till when...

Hi Sonal1988... You don't need to send your expired pp unless you have a valid visa on it.. I had asked them if i needed to attached my expired and they said I'd have to attached it only if the old pp has any visa which has not expired... however, take it along with you when you go to submit...

Hiee.. The application forms clearly state that you need PCCs from any country where you have resided for over 6 months from the time your wife was 18 or 10yrs ago.. whichever is lesser, i think.. but i'm guessing from your post that she has submitted a pcc that she got from china while she was...

Ishvas... Havent got it yet.. I just wanted confirmation... but seems like its still in the initial processing stage.. and they have sent it to delhi.. its still being processed.. will keep ya'll updated!!

Whoa!!!.. Atul can you please share the stages of tracking your pp went through?? seems a little absurd that my PP will be back to mumbai today since its been less than 24hrs since I submitted it.. It may just be the initial processing.. plus even if, by some twist of fate, it comes to mumbai...

Thanks Ishvas.. although my timeline suggests otherwise, technically i did apply in march (them losing the application did not count, i guess :P) plus my medicals are expiring in Nov.. so maybe they just wanted to get rid of me :P
