When you make a bank draft, bank debit the amount from your bank Account. That money stays with the bank itself. When CIC clears the draft the money get deduct from Bank's Account only. Thats how Your bank will know that your draft has been encashed or not!!

Hi RKC ! I got a question... Why they take too long to encash the processing fees?? Where as in last year when i applied on 24-11-2010 , my fees was encashed on 9-12-2010 itself.. What could be the reason behind this??
