Email id is at the top most sectioon. Mention the principal applicant email id and other details since the principal applicants Application would be searched. If the technical support is not responding, try calling the ircc customer care with your application number and UCI.

Definitely, your application will be processed in this week or the next. The email came to me from Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca to me. It might come from a different email to you. Check your emails regularly. All the best.

Thats right. In your case, Principal apllicant is your wife and you are the sponsor as you are applying for her. Remember to enter travel information for both of you in the specified table in the form.
