Good day everyone. I have applied in July and still awaiting for my AOR. My work permit is set to expire in December 2025 due to passport expiry. Now, considering my current application for permanent residency, when would be the earliest time I could work on my passport renewal? BLS website...

Good one everyone. My passport is set to expire in December 25, 2025. When would be the earliest time I can apply for passport renewal? BLS website says up-to 1 year, but would they accept it before 1 year if I just apply right now?

Thanks for the response. So that’s the risk one has to take? If the nomination expires before even getting any response (either AOR or return of the file)..

@Miss bee Hi there. If one is still waiting for AOR and if the Nomination letter is about to expire soon, in that case, can we extend the nomination letter?, in case if they return the application.

Hi yall. This might be very stupid mistake but in IMM5669, in field of study section, I had used abbreviations (i.e- Environ. Eng. Tech.) as my course name as it couldn’t fit due to limited characters. Would this be a problem??

Good day yall. I have just noticed that I forgot to attach backside(DOB, Date of pic taken, Photostudio name, etc) of my Digital photo. Would it be okay If I submit the webform and only attach the receipt of it? (,before I receive my AOR).

Thank you for this. However I wonder how would they conduct background check on a government employee. Lets say if one works for provincial government currently and had to fill up IMM0149 too. Couldn’t find anything on it. Guess the process would be longer for government employees then?

wow strange...here in my city that pnb bank manager asked me for valid student permit to apply for the foreign educational loan.

PNB doesn't need valid student permit for the foreign educational loan to apply at first place?
