my case was applied in march 2010 AOR recieved april re medical july 2011 from then no news i dont know when r they going to ask for my pasport?

the letter for my re medical was issued on 19 may 2011 in which they asked me to submit the remedical within 30 days. but due to the postal strike in canada i got that letter after 30 days.... can any1 plz tell me wht happens if u submitt the remedical after the given time limit....?
