We spouses doing the outside canada process, so I will be living in Korea while the application is going through. For contact information, I have myself in korea, but for other numbers should I put my spouse who is in canada? Or should I make all the contact info for myself only about me in Korea?

My partner speaks English and Korean fluently. But new laws say that he must take official documents to be translated. Is it possible that he can just translate himself and have someone stamp them?

My partner said that he saw that if our marriage is not recognized in his country (because we are gay) then we are unable to do the outside Canada process. Is this true? We have been planning to do the outside process and been preparing for it.

The question asks if close friends and family knew about the relationship. For us it is a half-truth. My partner's friends in Korea did know about us, but because we are gay we hid it from his hardcore Christian parents. They still don't know about us getting married. How do we answer this...

I live in BC and am sponsoring my spouse to come here. On his General Application, question 7, it asks if we have it or not, and if not, when we're getting it. Is this something we need to have or can we write N/A?
