When we send the Passport back do they require the actual NIC or will the photocopy do as well because my wife seems to have lost her's and now might take 10 days to get it made again. Any ideas?

yes you can provided u get a visitor visa -- tell them why do you want to visit , who are you going to visit and also there should be a very good reason that states that you're going to be coming back i.e. you're studying or work etc.

Yes her medicals expired in Dec 12 and then her app for re-medicals came in Jan 4th ... we were able to do remedicals right away as i told her to make sure she book appointments with the doctors asossciated with the embassy

@kha My time is the same as your wife received her re-med notice on January 8th we submitted her re-medical yesterday. I would say take your MP get on their case. They're able to provide a better picture rather than the standard reply from CHC

How did you check it

I think 2009 cases were mostly completed in 9 months cause my wife's aunt also got her visa within 9 months even though they asked for more proofs (i.e pictures etc) for the wedding however she did her nikkah only. They applied in July 2009 and got the visa in April 2010
