Hi there my wife is oct 2015 applicant.....she lives in goa and we have received passport request ...there is no vfs in goa....so i think she can submit in vfs mumbai....i am just confused a bit how to do it ....any advice will be of great assistance thanks....and hope everyone waiting for PPR...

Well she can enter back to india on Indian passport as she has got schengen visa and she also going to apply for her overseas citizen of india (oci) thanks

Thanks for ur reply....but we going to collect portuguese passport from lisbon and stay there for 2 weeks and then she is going to come for a visit....with me...but do she needs to inform cic about her change in citizenship immediately or she can do it in 2 weeks when she comes here....

No when she applied she did not had portuguese passport as she will have only from day she collects it and in near future hands over her portuguese passport as india does not allow dual citizenship

That's the reason I am planning that my wife takes her Portuguese passport and comes to canada on tourist visa and then we get married again in canada...only thing she has to surrender her Indian passport as india does not allow dual citizenship. .

they just rejected the visa saying that the marriage was not valid as my wife got converted into hindu legally and then we did a small marriage in mumbai in hindu tradition with ceremony with our friends and close relatives but only 25 people attended the wedding, then we register the marriage...

the vo was not satisfied as we did not have emails and skype records wen we were engaged before i landed in canada but we had lots of photos, after marriage we had lots of proof of evrything i have a stable full time job for year and a half now, but vo says very less people attended ur wedding...
