Hey Maria, In my GCMS notes, there was a section where it says undertaking length : 36 months. Do you know what that means? Also, in your notes, does it say in progress? and did anything start for you? criminal and back ground checks?

I'm in the family class category sponsoring my wife. I guess your guess is a bit different. I applied on September 10th and got my SA approval on Oct 27. Haven't heard anything since. How do you know they're working on July?

Thank you. Welcome to Ottawa :) Yes it's not so bad if you're together. I tried bringing her here on a visitor but she was denied because of strong ties to Canada and weak ties to Ghana. They didn't think she would come back at the end of the visa.

I have no idea what month Accra is working on..I can't seem to find anyone applying through that office except one or 2 people from June/July. They've gotten emails back from the VO requesting more information. So hopefully they'll look at mine soon although I know they opened it in mid...

I'm amazed at how I can't find anyone that's going through Accra at the moment other than NKT.. anyone? People here used to give each other hope and encouragement based on their timelines and communication with the VO. Any August/September applicants?

Yes as Maria said, those are GCMS notes. You can order them online http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp If you're the sponsor then you need a consent form from the principal applicant signed and scanned back to you. It's 5 bucks and it takes about 30 days to arrive...

My application is in Accra. I got my GCMS notes last week and it says the medicals received, the RPRF fee is also received and proof of relationship provided (an Officer had this note). It says the application is in progress in Accra since Nov 14 2014 but... Criminality and Back Ground checks...
