It is very inconvenient (also given the current situation in Syria) but if my wife gets her PPR, I will opt for the same thing. I heard that if you give your passport to the embassy in Tehran, it will take 4-8 weeks before you get your visa.

It doesn't matter both refer to the same address. You can put the actual address to be on the safe side.

I think the reason they are asking for your passport is because they want to know if you are still in Canada.

Nagz, They just asked my wife to send our wedding photos. We had send it initially with the application to CIC but when the sponsorship application was approved they sent it back and said it was not required in this step of application. What about you? Have they requested additional docs?

Today I received the questionnaire from Damascus. I am planning to send it back ASAP. I hope all cases finalize very soon.
