Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Unfortunately no good news yet for us either (still stuck at App Received and Medicals Received, no In Process) but sometime during the Christmas holidays our address also disappeared and hasn't come back yet. Seems quite strange it's happened for so many people, but not everyone. Hopefully it...

desiladu - when does it say they started working on your file (seems like the message usually tells). We got our PPR back on Sept 13, but still have no mention of "in progress" on eCAS - got the medical results received about 2 weeks back, but otherwise no change... Hope it means good stuff for...

Thanks - let's hope something happens soon. You said the person on the phone told you yours was nearly ready, but you only got IP that same day - that gives me some hope as well :) Good luck!

Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Thought I'd let you all know that we just noticed this morning that eCAS finally says "Medical Results Received". Haven't been watching the details so often, but it must have happened in the last week. Still no "In Process" though, which is disappointing. Have other people had medical results...

Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Given that our application is getting on 5.5 months from receipt now with no word, I'm thinking about trying our luck an contacting ND - which raises the question, how have you all done it recently? Did you email the general inquiry email address, or file case specific enquiry? Any thoughts as...

Just to fill out the timeline - when did you get your PPR, and when did you get "In Process" on e-cas (if ever?) Congrats on getting the visa though!

Looking at the spreadsheet (data from people here from the last 8 months) it seems that if you get a PPR a long time after ND receives your file, then the visa comes within about 2 weeks from when they get your passport - so that means you're likely almost done - congrats!

Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Sorry - ours came regular mail, and from what I've heard, I think that's generally the way they work. Certainly not couriers etc as standard practice, and I don't even think it's SpeedPost or registered mail etc - just plain vanilla (easy to lose) regular post. See what you can find, good luck...

Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Still nothing on our end either - the wait is getting frustrating... 2 months gone now since PPR (Sept 13) and still no updates, not even "in process" yet :( We keep hoping something happens soon, we really want/need to get this visa done by the end of Dec at the latest, and it's getting closer...

I'm curious/anxious about this too. My sponsorship was approved on Aug 19th, and then we got a PPR by mail from CHC ND on Sept 13th, but other than that there has been no other communication. eCASE still only says "we received your application on June 24th", nothing about medicals, in-process...

Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Though we got our PPR (after just a little less than a month after sponsorship approval) we still have the same info in eCAS - an address and "application received on June 24" (mississagua date) and nothing about "in-process" or medicals even though it's been a month since the PPR. So who knows...

Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Hey everyone, I applied to sponsor my partner (from India) back in June (app received June 24th) and got sponsorship approval on Aug 19th and Delhi sent a PPR to my partner on Sept 13th, and so things are going well, but we're now in the waiting game... Add us to the spreadsheet if you want -...

    June 2011

To keep you all updated - we got a (postal) letter from New Delhi today dated Sept 13th saying the file had been received and requesting my partner's passport - YAY! Never got a separate AOR letter (which I had been expecting - I though Delhi sent those), but oh well. One other question, it...

We're stuck in a similar boat - I got my sponsorship approved on Aug 19th, but since then there's been not a peep to wither me or my partner in India. My ecas shows only "Decision Made" and "Application Received" - in Mississauga on June 24) and my partner still doesn't have a Client ID to log...

I don't have the "Forum Related Information" option under profile, it only lists "Account Related Settings". Oh well, maybe some day - seems silly if it's a # of posts issue though. Nothing against you folks here but I haven't had much to say - I check it regularly though to see how everyone...

    June 2011

I can't figure out how to modify my signature/stats on the side of my posts? I've tried going into my Profile, but it only lets me change my password... Anyone know how to do this? Also, I just checked ecas and they say that they didn't receive my application until June 24th rather than June...

    June 2011

After getting fed up of waiting (seemed to be at least a week overdue based on the website stats) for some sort of sign from CPC-M, I called the call centre yesterday afternoon. Took an hour to get through (stupid system!) but when I did the guy was really nice and helpful, and told me that I'd...

Add me in too. Our application was received at CPC-M on June 23 (at first they wouldnt tell me a street address for the courier - crazy!) and we've been waiting since. Been working towards this for over 3 months now, so nice to have it in finally! Common-law sponsorship for my Indian partner...
