This is very wrong information. The canadian contact office was closed at the beginning of feb. 2013. Now pps are being sent via vfs.

If you see normal trend, it should be done within 4-7 months, but, sometimes (in some cases) they take more. Be patient and wait, they will give you a good news very soon. And you will be informed via email to contact VFS to get back your pp. Now, just relax.

If you see previous trend, they will send medical within one year of 'in process' status, however, everything differs case to case and case-officer. Be patient and wait couple of months.

I have similar problem, NDVO put my one surname (as I have two surnames) as a middle name, but I am not going to correct it. Cuz whatever they mentioned in copr that can be read in my passport as well, however, they are in different place.

This is common problem, you need to contact to VFS and send back your docs to CHC NDVO. They will correct and will send you back with proper surname. Best of luck !!!
