@ tinytoes I got my confirmation via E-mail in mid-december. But I still can't access my status online. For sure you will get your confirmation soon, maybe because of the holidays it took them a bit longer. They got my application on 10/10/12. When exactly did you apply? Good luck!

@ ulemum: Did you send a normal work-permit application? then they normally don't send a confirmation. in other cases it takes them around 2 months to send a confirmation e-mail or letter. I sent my application for PR beginning of October and got my confirmation on Tuesday.

hi, what exactely did you apply for? did you only apply for PR or did you as well apply for an OWP? If you are changing employers did you send the LMO with your application? but for sure, if you change the employers and don't have an OWP yet, you have to wait to get the new work -permit...

Hi, last time when I renewed my WP it took around 2 1/2 months. They sent it by mail. For workpermit renewal they normally do not send a confirmation letter. So just means to wait, but I am sure you will get your answer soon. :)

Hi I'm in the same situation as you, implied status and so without SIN and OHIP, but I was told from an Immigration lawyer that it is ok to continue to work if I don't change the employer. Anyways we should get the new WP or the OWP soon, and normally you have 30days to make changes to this...
