Hey Await!!! How are you? I just want to share with you that I sent email to Colombo and got reply: "Please be advised that your file is with the officer to review for the next steps in processing." I am not sure about which step are they talking but at least this time they reply within 1 day...

Hi Flossy!!! We also been through such situation. My husband to be applied to Sydney NS as a single person. And after getting 1 AOR we decided to get married. During 120 days which we got as per check list we married, and send file including my docs to Colombo. So far no rejection from VO side...

Me too did not receive 2nd AOR. Please send email to VO and ask for your new file number, they will reply. Read subject they usually mentioned this info in the subjects.... Good luck!!!

So how long does it take to get Birth certificate?

Did you try to sent email to VO in Manila? They may send you your fail number by email... Our mail also was lost in post office somewhere, we sent email and received our file number. Good luck!!!

I agreed with Haral, only if you don't have time to read instructions properly, visit notary office and feel your forms, then only you can go through Agent, otherwise it is not very difficult process at all. We applied on our own and do not have any problems so far, fingers crossed ;D. But you...
