iam also a May 7th applicant , received PER on 8th Aug. Still awaiting to hear the next good news. that is true, a handful of guys who recd PER on second week of aug received MR and immigration fee already. i think most of them are on the same boat from those dates

i've been checking my mail daily even since i sent my application, but not mail as yet. I got this UCI number last year when my application was returned due to cap full. so i checked using this UCI and found this status. does it mean my DD has been encashed and PER is on its way ?

Thanks medwiz, this surely calls for a relief :) since the status says inproces, it surely means that CIC has debited the funds. but will check wiith the concerned authorities to know the status. Also what do i need to expect as a part of the next step ? can you help me understand this ?

Need your inputs here.. Iam a May 7 applicant, when i checked the EACS status using the UCI number which was issued last year, the status says "We received your application for permanent residence on May 7, 2014". i didn't get any PER email as such mentioning the same ! does the above message...

Thanks... u mean can i apply this year under a different NOC ?? . but i've heard that once you've been assigned a UCI number you shouldn't take risk in reapplying under a different NOC. as they might turn down my application considering the fact that i've already applied under a diff NOC
