A decision was made for me 3.12.15..still no mail.I called and they stated they are still finishing up on my application...once done I will get mailing.

Thank you..it sure has been a long wait..I had decided to contact my husband's MP but saw the decision made before I did. Now it's the waiting game for the landing papers.

A few months ago I requested to be in the group and my request magically disappeared.

I overstayed and even got an order to leave for 1 year. When I filled out my dates I put visitor each time. After the 1 year exclusion and being able to go back and forth..cic still requested I get a background check done for Canada.

Yes I meant passport request..my ecas still shows in process.

I received an email on 10/15 to pay my fees. I did so the same day..emailed and mailed my receipt. I was told to pay by 11/18. I am aware the office has received the receipt. How long does it take afterwards..also do US citizens get copr requests? Does it come by regular mail or fedex?

my husband and I had a court house ceremony in dallas..no family or friends..I explained why that occurred and how we plan to have a real wedding once I get to canada..no problems or red flags..but we have been together over 4 years.

I was also excluded 2011.. I was worried and almost got a lawyer involved..so glad I did not do that!..everything went smoothly without a lawyer.

I'm in the process of helping my sister apply for schools in calgary. I will be moving to calgary in january on a family class...our mother recently passed so I want her to apply there to be closer to me until she finishes school. There are some schools that she can transfer her US financial...

I plan to send the receipt via email..but it also says the sponsor MUST mail it to them..is that correct?

I'm finally done with the Canadian background check that was requested before 9/18/2014..I show someone signed for it 8/15/2014. I hope they resume my app before 9/18/2014.

I am sure it will arrive soon.. :)

I just checked ECAS and it seems like they are processing the app even though they still want me to send them the background check for canada? Permanent Residence 1.We received your application for permanent residence on March 25, 2014. 2.We started processing your application on July 16...

Everything so far has been via email.
