As my application reached CIC on 22-Sep-14,,, I wonder what will cic do to speed up the processing time,,, because with present trend my file will be opened only in Feb,,, and by Jan,,, the new programme will be announced. I am afraid how will this new program launch affect my application file.

Finally sent my application,,,,,, Now the worst part just starts.... to WAIT,, WAIT ,, N ,, WAIT,,, but dont know how long,,, LOL ... Hope CIC will speed up. Details entry done for SS :)

actually I am planning to borrow about 10000CAD from friends and show the balance certificate,,,, and return to them after few days,,,

How long should i keep the bank balance above the required cash as indicated in cic or i can use it after getting bank balance certificate.

Got Critical problem here,,, just came to know that my spouse's birth certificate have different name and different dob then in citizenship,,, and to reflect that data in birth certificate the government process is tedious and will take much time for their validation.... is there any alternative...

How will the place in Canada,, that I choose will effect my application? It is better to choose Calgary or Toronto.

if the translation agency also have authority to notarise then they will do it in translated copy..... so i guess the stamp would work ..

thanx Gsw,,, so it means i just add 150 CAD to process along with my application and provide birth certificate of child.

I now need to rush and get my child 's passport ready... thx for all who answered this query. :)

do i need to submit passport now or.. just identity card of child from government office is Ok and send passport later only to stamp visa.. if i m lucky ;-)
