Skg..4 months from AOR1 date...they haven't been coming sooner as yet (worse luck, I'm waiting for mine). I phoned CIC helpline and while she wouldn't confirm my assumption about working out how many outstanding applications in total are in backlog program hence all our AOR1 and 2's having same...

looking at the dates for those AOR1, and 2 and the fact we all have the same dates, suggests they are just clearing up the last of the "backlog". Cut off was the 13th of June to be included in the program, and we all made it (just) but at the same time those of us applying in the first 2 weeks...

I keep reading about people not having the medicals match up if they do it up-front..this is a concern for me, once I do the upfront medical how do I (or the doctor) submit the results to ensure they match with my application? I assumed now my application has a File number the doctor could use...

How much money (in cash) can we bring when we land?

I made the call on you're behalf to CBSA...from the horses mouth. You can bring in as much currency as you want, in what ever countries notes, as long as you declare if you are carrying more than the equivalent of $10,000 at the CBSA border post at the airport/port etc. If this is the case you...

I would say in this case, as you have the AOR2....no news is good news...prior to issuing the AOR's they check everything is ok and send it back if, as the previous poster stated anything is wrong, the fact you haven't heard suggests it's ok.

Hi Rose, I'm just a PR applicant as well, from the UK, I'm going to ask you some questions that will help others provide answers (I hope) and bump your question back to the top. Firstly do you have a PR spousal application in the system right now? Secondly, you say you have a visa at...

HELP! My husband got deported, did not inform immi ,cross u.s border illegally

No in my opinion, and only in MY opinion, they loved each other and worried that the distance of her going home would suddenly change EVERYTHING and rushed into the vegas wedding without either family even knowing or attending, etc etc...the part about them seizing on the overstay is genuine...

Hi there, I'm inland, yes you can withdraw the outland and re-apply inland. BUT as the previous poster pointed out ALL you're evidence needs to be re-submitted and it ALL has to be current...medical, police checks, etc etc. Regarding the work-permit...it takes 4 months from when the...
