    INLANDERS!

I mailed my application in December 14th and haven't seen mine yet, though joce288 you are only like 2 weeks behind me. I hope to hear something soon!

TRV denied, applied for PR and now need your assistance...

Hmm...not too familiar with TRV while outland apps are in process, tho I have heard of some people who had them go through... You are a month and a half into your outland app, and depending on where your spouse is from, you might be well on your way to getting PR (I know the outland apps are...

    On ecass,, without letter?

mrs B, you applied inland to Vegreville, yes?

    On ecass,, without letter?

Wait...you sent your application in nov 17, and it already says "decision made" in e-CAS? hmmm...that's odd.

TRV denied, applied for PR and now need your assistance...

Given that she applied outland, it likely will not impact your PR application. It was denied because she shows no intent to return (PR app in process) so including sponsorship is only going to tell them that you vow to support her, but nothing about her intent to return. You could try...

Supporting documents - copies for both Sponsor and Immigrant Sections?

I put everything in the order mentioned on the dockument checklist.

Please help ease this worried mind.

You can do it that way. I was under the impression you were going to apply inland and do the extension and PR in one shot, but thinking about it, the way you are doing it, is probably the best way to go. Then you will have more time to carefully put it all together. For outland apps, you'll...

Please help ease this worried mind.

You raise a good point which I did no see before. The way I interpreted the question when I filled it out, was that the original entry is the date you received the current visitor visa, and the most recent entry was just that--the most recent entry. So for you I would think that the two dates...

    Thread for applications sent mid-February

Yay! You might want to join this thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/thread-for-febuary-applications-t34175.0.html There are people there who have also applied recently. Your e-CAS is probably not going to be updated for a little while, but probably not...

Please help ease this worried mind.

Keep us posted on your progress, jclark, and don't hesitate to ask questions. I know I've mentioned this before on a post... but just again want to remind you about the Option C, not to be redundant, but it will take the most time to get, and I certainly wouldn't want that to be a hold up for you.

    On ecass,, without letter?

I was under the impression that we do not receive written confirmation from vegreville until first-stage approval (5-6 months).

    Need Assistance

PMM is a senior member, actually a VIP member with 7 stars (look under the name). 2 years sounds about right. I have also heard elsewhere that you cannot immediately apply for another app once you have one that is refused.

    Paying fee online

Yes, outland apps are all sent to Mississauga. Mississauga then sends them out to the appropriate processing center (in your case, Buffalo). Its all in there: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3900E.pdf Page 17, "Mailing your application" When in doubt, read the instructions ;)

One word to mention about lawyers. I remember speaking to an immigration officer at the border when I was getting my visitor visa. He casually asked us (my husband and I) if we were using a lawyer for the immigration process, and we told him we weren't. He said that that was a good thing...

    Permanent

What this means is that your file was transferred to your local CIC office, which apparently is Etobicoke. You should at some point be hearing from them. They might want to set up an interview. You are applying inland, so do know that it does take a while that way, 12-18 months or longer from...

Hi all, I certainly don't mean to sound rude, but it is very clearly written in the manual: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3900E.pdf I am particularly refering to the manual with instructions for outland applicaltions (ie, first get sent to mississauga, then to your home...

    Paying fee online

From the manual: Once you have paid the fees you must: •print the official receipt; •fill out by hand the “Payer Information” section; •attach the bottom portion (copy 2) of this receipt to your completed application Are you the payer? You said you paid by your credit card so that would make...
