Nope, its not risky at all, there is no harm if you give a canadian CC holder CC number. Infact its safe, many candidate faced that they provided their CC number and transaction rejected due to its outside their country, even after informing CC company that you expect a outside country...

First we need to understand why they asking proof of funds, CIC want you to take care of yourself and your family for at least first six months once you land to Canada. So think from that point of view that you need to bring that money to Canada.

Send all you have as proof of birth, i think now in India it requires court's approval to issue birth Certificate for those whose records are not available. please do asap, I did for my parents and it took more than 2 months.

Dont want to give anyone false hope, our case was different, we faced issue related to WES FSWP access by CIC, that was the reason we got PER so late.

We are in the same boat Dharam, the thing that is not clear is, last year we opted "Evaluation - Course by Course (Initial Application)" from WES, it their site says CIC can view the report till 5 years, and now they send us this email stating to order duplicate report. for us no option, just wait.
