Mitali, You could be correct, but my case doesnt prove it. My case went into "In-process" in April 2011 and when I ordered my CAIPS in Aug, 2011 and got it in Sep-2011, it still had only 10 points for age. Other points were all "0". How can that happen ? Please explain......

Mitali, I saw that in one of your posts that if the application reaches "In-Process" state, it means 67 points have been awarded already, is that true ? My CAIPS noted indicate that my application doesnt have points other than "10" age points, but my application is in process since April...

It will NOT delay the process at all ! Don't be confused, go ahead with your existing application and just remove "Use of Representative" form !

If you could avoid him by all means, please do so ! Representatives will only complicate your case and delay it ! They take a lot of money from you and do nothing !! As far as canadian processes go, YOU DO NOT NEED A REPRESENTATIVE !

More likely, it should take about 3 - 4 months!!! When I got my file transferred to Detroit office, the email contained a note saying " Do Not contact the VO for 90 days" ! Hopeful to get the medical request soon :-)!!! Good luck all !
