Sure, I will keep following up on that. I will send them another e-mail in one week or so, just to allow for some time for delivering and attaching the mailed letter.

But the first applications for both guys are now back to life after they appealed through e-mail. It seems that supplementary reference letter is a working option. I have sent a supplementary reference letter by e-mail one month ago and again by express mail today. No reply so far for my e-mail.

Re: Reference letter sealed? No, this is not necessary, however it doesn't hurt if u did it. You can even submit photocopies of the letter instead of the original.

I e-mailed them a supplementary letter of reference on April 9 and I have not got any response so far, only the instant automatic reply. I am going to mail it to them this week and send them another inquiry e-mail also. I don't know really what's wrong with those guys !!!

When did you send them the e-mail inquiring about your rejection ? You can forward to them the automatic response that you should have got when you sent your additional letter e-mail. You may also forward the e-mail again to them, it will show that it was sent before in Jan.
