I just got my GCMS. Surprise surprise, nothing has started. Only the medical is passed and that is they thing they were not responsible for. It shows that they pretty much haven't touched the application since it arrived there.

It stands for Federal Skilled Worker Programme. It's one of the immigration ways to Canada. They provide the public with a list of occupations every year or two and if you have work experience in one of the occupational field and meet the other criteria they start your immigration process.

It feels like there is only one case officer working and s/he is going through each application one by one :(

I guess there were 1 or 2, but then again there are especial cases so I guess those were under that category ;)

Oh OK ;) I know from the Iranians' side, we had quite a lot of MRs over the last 3 months, in fact about 4-6 every week but some how since 3 weeks ago it's slowed way down :(

I got a question: So on the last GCMSnotes that I got it says Medical: Stage Validity What does it mean?

maybe you should order GCMS to see if they have passed you on eligibility. Maybe you have and they are just doing the security now :( I know this is hard and I haven't even have waited half as long and many others here but my husband is really frustrated and wants to contact the mayer. We can't...

Thanks Tom for starting the group on fb. It's so good to be in contact with people who are experiencing the same situation. I believe this is a good way to find good friends who understand you ;)
