I actually dont check my ecas anymore! Its frustrating!! Hahaha... I get more information in these forums than my ecas!

Thanks tagum. I know that i do have to face it eventually its just my heart as a mother that keeps clouding my reason sometimes. She's our only child and we waited for her for 8 years and now that she is here it seems that the few weeks or months that we could be separated is so much harder...

Congrats for those who got visas!! ..... Hoping and praying for my 2 y/o daughter's visa to be out.... Ppr june 19.... No news at all!! Im booked to fly on sept 18 praying i could bring her already.

Thanks tagum! Exactly my point... We are families broken by this process... I hope they see it that way and not just papers to be processed. My heart isbreaking to pieces just thinking of the possibility that i still have to leave her here but im still holding on to hope and lots of prayers...

You are right tagum! Ecas is such a waste! I wonder how many dollars were put into making such useless crap!?!?

How i wish i could extend for even just a month but my time out of canada is almost up... Landed in canada sept 25, 2010... Got pregnant while vacationing here sa pinas and had a high risk pregnancy and since we waited for this pregnancy for 8 yrs we just could not take the chance. Long story...

I have reserved a flight for sept 18 for 1690 all in for 1 adult and 1 child..... But they are only gonna hold it for me until aug 29.... Hoping for a miracle visa for my child or else i might be travelling alone... Heavy heart.. Sigh..

Yes tagum WHO CARES!!!! I still believe that the family is the core of every society and thus family reunification should always be priority... Well that's just my viewpoint the government has obviously another priority in mind.

Ok lang po yan... That just means you need the visa stamped in your passport to travel to canada... The COPR is your landing papers.

Oh thats an idea!!! :P ... I hope we get our visa soon before it really gets too cold there that turning the heat off would not make you want to move! Haha... Kidding aside though hats off to you tagum 19 months is no easy feat!

Was finally able to get through! Yah, i know i have an 80% chance of just getting a generic response but at this point we are willing to just do about anything for our 2 y/o who is the only applicant in our application. Fingers crossed and lots of prayers i hope i get the 20% kind of response...
