How did you acquire your citizenship? If you were a PR and became a citizen by naturalization, yes your baby is a Canadian citizen( I might be wrong depending on how you acquired your citizenship).

Once you get your first Acknowledgement Of Receipt(AOR1), you will get your Application Number so can check online with it or with your UCI or Client ID Number (the same number as on your PR card if you ever had one).

They sometimes extend the medical depending on circumstances but I am not sure if they will reply to your inquiry but you can try, they will ask you to redo it if required. I hope you will be approved before your med expires...meanwhile just wait, relax and pray. Good luck my friend!!

We have the same timeline and I received my SA on April 5th, It looks like your sponsorship assessment has been approved by April 20th and VO started PA application by April 28. They cannot start permanent residence application before SA. Check your junk mail....congrats and good luck

I think it says "meet in person" meaning the first time you saw her/him with your eyes regardless whether you had a relationship earlier(like online) or later( if your relationship developed with time after the first physical meeting).

I received our GCMS Note yesterday and all 30 pages show no progress at all, No updates since transferred to DAR VO. I think they are clearing a bunch of backlog they made a couple of years ago, a friend of mine's wife successfully passed interview yesterday after 3 years of waiting in vain.

Absolutely, they do extend medical exams, hopefully they will do the same for you or it has already been done.

Straight forward applications are always processed faster even before that promise. It looks like that promise only favors applicants from visa exempt countries and inland backlogs. Just wait and wait, don't always be impressed by politicians.
