I Think you were legally married and it was considered legal in Canada as well. You should have mentioned it and clearly explained it...if somebody ever report you, it will for sure be proved that you have been married before and if CIC finds out that you never mentioned it, they won't ignore...

I think that doesn't matter at all, whether you are citizen or dual citizen, born abroad or resident. what matter the most is your status in Canada. Just provide you marriage certificate and the copy of your Canadian citizenship certificate. There will be no problem at all

you better send original but as long as you send Option C print our from CRA and T4s or paystubs, it should be ok, I sent all of them and got SA ontime

Samjij is rights it expires after 6 months. If they ever ask you to redo police certificates, it will be one from Uganda and US because it has to be from the country where the applicant has lived for 6 months and up. requesting it proactively might be a good idea, you may only lose your money...

you don't have to worry if you sent employment letters and/or paystubs or you should have attached T4s for 2015. I sent my application with 2014 Option C print out and not 2015 as it was not yet filed.
