It's tough to say as everyone seems to have very different timelines. I feel like our BOWP took much much longer than other applicants... but as soon it was approved our PR progressed extremely fast! My AOR is about 5-6 weeks earlier than yours... but your BOWP came much quicker so it's anyones...

If it helps, I applied May 17 (AOR May 18) and only received it last Friday (120 days in total). I'd say you must be close!

Thank you! We actually already got PPR last week on Sept. 14 and sent off the requested documents first thing Sept. 15 so hopefully not long before it's all over!

After a long 120 days, I finally have my BOWP. Time line as follows.... PR AOR - May 16 BOWP AOR - May 18 BOWP went on hold (status blank) - July 25 PR background check in progress & medicals passed - July 28 RCMP request (spouse only) - August 16 Uploaded results of police clearance - August...

The additional documents are being reviewed so hopefully that's a good sign! The emails are always strange, I find that I get them about 12-24 hours after the update has been made so I just keep logging in to find out if there are any changes.

Thank you! My partner (also the dependant) only got asked for the RCMP 2 weeks ago. We submitted the results as soon as they arrived on August 29. Hopefully not too much longer... we are at 105 days now :(

Can i ask how long after you submitted the RCMP did you receive the BOWP approval?

Congrats! Out of curiosity are you a FSW or CEC applicant?

No idea! We didn't get a request for fingerprints. Is he the primary applicant? Maybe that has something to do with it?

UPDATE: I haven't received an email yet but I just checked online and my PR application was updated! Now with a status of 'We are processing...' and our medicals were passed.

So did we! I'm pretty sure the average processing time back when we applied was only 40 days. Fingers crossed we all get it soon... and I'd be grateful to hear of any progress you guys get in the coming days/weeks!

Mine is the same, PR AOR was also May 16 with no medical updates etc. The status just says 'It has been received...'. I actually called this morning about the BOWP and at first they said I didn't have a PR application! (EEP!!!)... but once I gave them the number, they confirmed that it does...
