    I heard this case , too. We have our own forum for people from my country and some of them quit their job after getting nomination and got the file number from cic. Then they report it to the cic and the cic sent them a new work permit. U know even some of them didn't report it at all. But...

    OK...so the ainp issued approx. 2000 file numbers between Mar and Jul considering others' last digits. And they are still working on Nov applicants. Looks like it is very unlikely we are getting the nomination this year since they reached half of its quota on the end of May... How great!!!!

    The CIC doesn't usually request IELTS but you will definitely need the police clearance.

    What's ur NOC code? Think it depends on the NOC. See my time line below, I got mine on 15th of July but my friend who got AOR a month before me haven't got her file number coz she applied under food supervisor.
