If you are already in Canada, and you are eligible to apply for a visitor, study or work permit within Canada (online or at one of their offices), you don't need to give your biometrics. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp

If you're applying online you don't need to sign them. You sign electronically at the end of the process by checking a box!

Hey Just FYI: It is my understanding that some countries don't allow you to apply online. They require you to use their client at their Visa Office. So check first if your country allows it.

Yes I agree with this, if they don't offer to send you the info on your email (which usually has their name and agent number), you should always ask for it, they're very willing to do it, don't really mind.
