Forum friends By the grace of God, today (Friday Oct 31, 2014) I got back my Passport with Visa and COPR!! My app was filed May 21, 2014 so it is now exactly 5 months and 10 days since my app was received and one month since processing began. I am so excited, it's almost impossible to contain...

I wonder when CIC will update cap status. It's now been 19 days since last update. That's basically forever. >:(

Don't sweat it. They'll open the envelope eventually and place you in the right group. Several people forgot to do this and still got through.

Owais Iqbal Are you a national of a visa exempt country? If so, they won't ask you for your actual passport as you wouldn't need a visa to go to Canada. They will just ask for a copy of your bio-data pages, I believe and then simply send your COPR to you.

Lol, a my VO dat! (KINGSTON) As I understand it, they under new management who apparently not playing as they have been clearing the backlog of apps from as far back as 2011/2012 they had since this year started.

Yup, thanks. VO called me Tuesday past to ask if I had done medical. I answered yes and about 15 mins later, I got passport request. So shocked was I, almost fell out my chair, :P. Sent my passport off to them the next day and my ECAS updated with 3rd line "Medicals... received" yesterday. Based...
