Hi! I did apply and got Original Passport Request letter yesterday. Although when I applied, I wasn't unemployed. And I think a being employed isn't a mandatory thing for TRV. If you need more clarification you can reach IRCC. Hope this solves it. Thanks.

I just received my work permit in the mail and am planning to apply for a TRV. I am still finding a job and have mentioned unemployed in the application. Do I need to show a Proof of Employment? Do I need to show Proof of funds as well?

sorry for the later reply should be Biometric Enrollment Letter. It means you have to give the biometrics at the nearest VAC.
