I have only last question, I would greatly appreciate any info at all on it. Do I need to get a recall clearance letter from my manufacturer to reimport my car to the US? Since I originally bought my car in the US, it already has the DOT and EPA stickers for FMVSS and Emission Standards...

Got it. thanks for confirming that! Btw do you happen to know if one can turn around and return back to Canada in case they are short of any document needed by CBP. Or do they have to go through CBSA and Canadian immigration again (i.e if they are on a Visa in Canada)?
