The embassy's receptionist was very accommodating to address all my concerns. He told me to post back my passport in 30 days and include a cover letter which explains my situation.

hi agz, when I went to the Canadian embassy I told them about the passport issue..they said I need to send them my old and new passport/s including a cover letter to explain the situation and to make it easier for the officers to review my papers.

Hi khatz! They asked for additional docs from my employer in June which was furnished in July. Haven't done medicals til now. Will go home to the Philippines next week. Got back my passport yesterday and I need to send it to the embassy w/in 30 days so they can continue processing my docs...

Hi europegirl!just been to the embassy to retrieve my passport. They said I need to send it back in 30days. With regards to my new passport, I need to send both the old and new, with a cover letter explaining my situation and perhaps a letter from my employer will be of help. Hope things go well...

wow!congrats to you.. before I went to the Canadian embassy, I passed by Phil embassy to renew my passport. they usually don't get the old one..

Don't think too much dear. Try to do the best you can with this application. Lodge the visa application, wait for the embassy to respond and take it from there.

I lodged my LICP work permit application in London Visa Office in May 2012. The embassy required for additional documents from my employer, which was received by the embassy in July. I tried to e-mail them, they said my application is still on process. I'm planning to go home to the Philippines...

dear sad to say, London VO doesn't accept enquiries via phone or in person..email mo nlng ulit..

mdaming beses kn ba ng-email sa embassy?nareceive na nila ung additional docs galing sa employer q nung july 16 pa..nagfollow up aq nung august..nagchange address aq early sept..then 2days ago tinanong q kung pwde sa pinas nlng mghintay..bka nmn makulitan sila..

nagemail aq sa embassy 2days ago..naginquire aq kung pwde ituloy application sa pinas..pero wala pa reply..at magfofollow up din employer q sa knila..haay, ang tgal..akala q 8-10wks lng..

Pinay din aq..hehe..bkit pla sa london ang VO mo?gusto q na nga umuwi sa Pinas at dun nlang maghintay..pwde kaya?
