Yes looks like it is the DGCA intentionally restricting as many Canada bound passengers as they can through such clauses for other airlines, for the straight benefit of VBM (because Air India is allowing COPR's).... Very sad and frustrating ..maybe they have a round of India-Canada flights...

How are you sure about 2nd Aug..did you get confirmed tickets from an airline? Also what was your copr issue date ..

That is right...we would need to clarify that...and what about transit visa through Germany? Do we need to apply for that too on a short notice
