    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

As far as I understood when I researched this previously, it is true you do not need to do x-ray while pregnant, and CIC will keep your medical file open, however, they will not proceed with your application until you do the x-ray (after the baby is born). I believe both your applications are on...

I forgot to mention, on the 'Confirmation of Permanent Resident' document we received today, it did note "Special Program: SIR". I did also recieve my GCMS notes on June 14, and in there was no mention at all of SIR.

My wife landed today! Very exciting day for us! Our interview was not unlike any others. We had a very nice and polite officer ask us a number of the usual questions others have noted here (have you been convicted of a crime, denied entry into Canada, etc..). I am very thankful to this group...

We did receive the landing appointment letter today, appointment was for July 26. Did some back and forth emailing with a very polite officer at the Calgary office, and successfully changed the appointment to July 28, 10AM. So, landing then! Hooray!

I sent a case specific inquiry, and included scan of the E-medical form the doctor provided. In the body of the form, I noted all the unique numbers, etc.. as well. It worked for me, as we have just received DM today.

Very excited to have received DM today! Now awaiting appointment from the Calgary office! How long have others waited between DM and appointment email from Calgary office? What shall I bring to the appointment, and what to expect at the appointment? Someone noted a question to the sponsor was...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Good evening all. We also received our second AOR today. November 2, 2015 applicants, after just receiving SA and AIP June 2 as well. I also have some odd things happening with our address as well, they just can't seem to get it right: 1. Applied Nov 2, 2015 with what is now our old address 2...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Good morning folks! We received SA and AIP yesterday, Nov 2 applicants. Officer is AZP/M. Strangely, we have not yet received a medical request. A few questions: 1. 10 days ago, we began 'upfront' medical, and we still have the labs to complete. X-ray is done. Would you suppose this is why they...

I think you need to very quickly send in for visitor status as well, so you don't get declined OWP because you're now not "in status".

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Here's a question I'll put out there for whoever would like to answer it. Why is it that CIC website shows 26 Months total processing time for an Inland application, however many, many people (according to the spreadsheet) have a 14 - 15 month wait. For example, the 2015-16 spreadsheet currently...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Thank you for the response! How about the application number? Beginning with "W" such as W900123123? Is it the same for OWP and/or applicant AOR and/or spouse AOR?

OLD IN PROCESS VS NEW IN PROCESS ON ECAS EXPLAINED

Hey folks, a few questions regarding ECAS. 1. Are the applicant and the sponsors UCI # the same? My wife (the applicant) has her's from her OWP. It is the same as her working holiday visa she got 1.5 years ago (which we expected). I am curious if mine will be the same, or an entirely different...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Well that's very surprising then. My immediate thought, some rookie representative made a mistake. It should be obvious to the Vegreville agents, who receive your OWP application FROM the Mississauga agents, that your PR application has begun in some way. My wife did the same thing as you...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

How did you apply? With the documents in the same envelope as your PR application, and mail it to Mississauga? Or a separate mailing of your OWP application to Vegreville?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

You have the process mostly correct. Many people have the sponsor approved, as well as the applicant on or around the same day, and that is a good thing! Three suggestions: 1. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas Log in here and view the status of your application. This is...

Sort of :) CBSA Officers work under the Ministry of Public Safety. One of the many jobs of the Ministry of Public Safety is to Administer the 'Immigration and Refugee Protection Act' (IRPA) at ports of entry. That act is the responsibility of the CIC (now known as IRCC, or the Ministry of...

...Notwithstanding the information at the following 2 links, which are in regards to your 'in progress' Permanent Residence application. While you do have a valid passport, valid work permit, etc.. a border officer could question you further, and wonder what you would do if your Permanent...
