Nobody is sure what to do in such case. I've heard so me people say apply after Jan 15 in your case when you complete 2 years. I've heard some visa officers check the CRS score as per the date the ITA was issued and reject the application. Call cic and ask their opinion.

You have 90 days from the date of ITA to submit the application. It expires in 90 days. If you let it expire, then you can't apply for Express entry anymore. However, if you can't apply within 90 days for some reason, you can choose to decline the ITA and wait for the next draws. Depending on...

Regardless of walkin or postal application, you still need to submit your passport as there will be a stamp applied on the passport for pic.
