    Mahali, I am also noc 2151 . my application reached on jan 19. but the cap reached on february 14. The general trend shows that CIC is cashing DD / CC after approx 2 month of receiving the application because of high volume of application. Do you think We wmigh get in the stipulated CAP?

    I did not want to transfer her money into my account. As we planned to move together, it shouldn't be bigger issue for CIC, I guess. It would rather throw some more light on the marital status.

    It is not uncommon to show both husband and wife's bank account. I turned in both bank account.

    Chances of getting in the stipulated CAP

    Mine got returned because of one missing form required to be filled by spouse. Returned on jan 5. Received on 17 and sent again on jan 18. CIC received on jan 19. BTW, I don't think I will get in as the cap for 2151 reached on feb 14. As far as I know. It takes About 2 month to get application...

    Mine from US. It takes one day for FEDEX. They used general postal service. Didn't use return envelope i provided in application package.

    Here is my time line: Sent thru FedEx: on nov. 1, 2011 Tracking showed: delivered on nov 4,2011 Stamp on the document was: nov. 2, 2011 They checked it on jan 5, 2012 and sent it back I received on jan 17, 2012 Sent again on jan 18, 2012 Received on jan 19,2012 Thanx arrowsmom and mahali.
