I just received Oath invitation for October 26th via email today. Yey! It came as a seperate email for each family member.

Just hitting 12 month mark, and.. first thing this morning they have sent a ceremony invitation for 26 October. I had Decision Made in May, so was wondering when things might start rolling, and I would guess that 1 year triggers something in the computer system :)

If you're waiting for decision made, it may be that there is a check outstanding which the Kitchener folks are waiting for to come back. Alternatively it may just be ECAS - some updates never come. Hopefully good news comes to us all soon. Hang in there! :)

Yes bringing lots of docs is certainly the safest option. Note to folks in the future - they don't seem to have a problem with you bringing in a bag, so just bring everything! For the document we had to sign, zardoz maybe you can put my mind at rest and tell me what the sections above were...

I agree with you zardoz, they were very accommodating with people, explained processes well and took the time needed. Some people had to come back later in the day with their COPR - good that they allowed that. Apparently the reason is that the document isn't required in the application, and...

Yeah we don't have another option at this stage. Good that it came eventually. It gives hope to those of us who are waiting like you. We either got unlucky in a pile on a desk somewhere, or our checks are taking longer than some others.

From people I've spoken with, they do seem to get through it in under 2 hours. Personally I would plan for longer so that you're not stressing about parking.

I would theorise that somewhere like the YMCA in Waterloo would be able to do that for you.
