Six People received their Passports stamped with Visas on one single day today (6th June 2011). All are NDVO applicants & all are pre 26 June applicants. So their is lot of hope for MI-1 applicants & it seems the levels of Visa Issuance are at par with MI-2 applicants if not more. It's just that...

Agree here ! More people need to send a query & based on their current status the reply might vary. This can only be confirmed if people share their experience of the replies they get.

If your job NOC is in the demand list & you can get 67 points without the AEO. THEN APPLY WITHOUT THE AEO-You will get (& you will also actually improve your chances of getting one) your Visa atleast 4-6 months earlier. However if you NOC is not there in the new list then apply with the AEO...

Check this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/research-stats/facts2009.pdf For e.g. in 2009, in FSW Class, PA admitted (Visas issued) were 40,735 & their spouses & dependents at 55,227. In 2009, PA admitted were 136529 against a total of 252179. So 115650 were spouses & dependents.

You got it all wrong !! See the link to the sheet I posted. 7500 is for New Delhi only in FSW cateogry. 55900 is total across all Visa Offices in FSW category only. I have repeatedly menmtioned 7500 for NDVO only. Pls. see my last few posts !! OMG atleast read before commenting !! Check once...
